WHATS IN MY HOLIDAY MAKE-UP BAG

As you may be able to tell from my last post i have just got back from a week long holiday to the gorgeous island of Ibiza so i thought i would do this post today just to show you what make-up babies i took along with me on my trip.

Like a lot of people when i'm on holiday and spending a lot of time in the sun i don't like to wear too much makeup on my face but at the same time i don't want to go completely bare, saying this though i did actually end up wearing makeup everyday and then just touching and glamming it up a little before i went out at night. For some people the thought of wearing foundation on holiday is totally off limits but if your applying your makeup lightly and doing it correctly i think its completely acceptable to pull off a full face look on the beach, i mean why not!? Here's what i brought:

Smashbox photo finish luminizing primer: It's important if your planning to wear make-up in hot climates and want it to last that you apply a good primer under your foundation just to keep it all in place. This primer is my favorite for that because not only does it make your foundation glide on smoothly but it has a golden, almost shimmery finish which when your foundation is on just makes you look naturally tanned and glowing!

L'Oreal infallible matte foundaation: I brought this foundation with me along with my beloved Estee Lauder double wear but ended up reaching for this one almost every day while i was there. Occasionally i would mix the both together to get the right shade for my skin but a thin layer of this foundation alone for every day use was perfect and because it is such a matte foundation setting powder was not needed at all. Its very lightweight and keeps your face oil free!

Bourjois healthy mix concealer: My most favorite concealer of all time, this works amazingly under the eyes to brighten up dark circles with great coverage.

ABH dip brow pomade: This was the only brow product i brought with me and the only brow product i needed. Its perfect if you want the strong brows but also want't to get your face wet in the pool or sea as its completely water proof and sweat proof, perfect!

ABH contour kit: I do love to contour pretty much everyday and this kit is just perfect for traveling if your not a fan of bringing multiple different products to do one job. Every dark to light shade you need is in this kit.

Makeup Revolution flawless eye shadow palette: I didn't want to take along with me one of my more expensive high end palettes to travel because i always worry about them breaking so the day before my holiday i popped to the shops and brought this beauty for such a bargain price! It provides a mixture of most colors you will need to do both day and night looks with a range of matte and shimmery eye shadows. A review will be coming soon of this palette because i LOVE it!

Benefit roller lash mascara: Probably not an ideal mascara to wear if you are swimming a lot but i brought this mascara mainly for evenings as i didn't wear any mascara or eyeliner during the day!

Rimmel glam eyes liquid eyeliner: This eyeliner is just my baby and i wouldn't go away without it! Its genuinely the best eyeliner i have tried and makes perfecting your wing a whole lot easier! Although i didn't use this during the day it was handy to apply a quick wing before heading out in the evening to glam up my makeup!

Maybelline colour drama lipsticks: Choosing which lipsticks to take with me was probably the hardest as i limited myself to just three! I didn't want to take all my MAC lipsticks as again i worry they will melt in my bag or damage so i found brought these two dupes for my favorite MAC lipsticks. 'Nude perfection' i used every single day as its almost a dupe for 'velvet teddy' by MAC and 'Fab orange' which is just a lovely bright orangy red colur almost similar to 'Lady danger'.

MAC liptick in 'Myth': I know i said i didn't want to take ALL of my MAC lipsticks but i had to take at least one so i brought my favorite by far which is Myth.

Makeup Revolution pro fix fixing spray: Last but not least is setting spray! An essential for keeping your makeup on especially whist on holiday and this spray is so good for the money, once again another amazing bargain from Makeup Revolution!

TRAVEL- A WEEK IN IBIZA

The view from our room. Picture perfect anytime, day or night!

I have just got back from the most amazing little trip to a beautiful place called figueretas in Ibiza and i'm feeling invigorated. I find there's something about travelling that really broadens the mind and gives us a chance to recharge and disconnect from our regular lives back at home. In my opinion nothing beats waking up in a new, beautiful country and then soaking up everything the day has to offer. In Ibiza's case this means soaking up the beautiful sun, sandy beaches and picturesque views (and maybe a few cocktails).

We stayed in a hotel called 'Jabeque' which had two pools, a bar and a restaurant with a range of Engish and Spanish foods to chose from. The staff at this hotel where so pleasant and the grounds surrounding the pool and rooms where kept absolutely spotless, the cleaners done an amazing job, i was amazed at how hard they work. Every room in this hotel has a balcony at sea view and the view honestly is beautiful.
I couldn't fault this hotel and i am actually considering visiting again in October for a end of season break!
If you are ever visiting Ibiza and are looking for an enjoyable and relaxing stay then i couldn't recommend Jabeque enough!

NEW FOUNDATION FAVORITE: ESTEE LAUDER DOUBLE WEAR!

I have finally, after a long time of debating got my hands on this foundation! I have mentioned before that L'Oreal True Match has been my absolute favorite for years now so i never got round to buying this one, although i had heard so many good things about it i just never bothered! Anyway my lovely boyfriend knew i had my eyes on this and kindly bought it for me on valentines day, and i am so so happy he did!

I had seen so many people talk about its amazing coverage and flawless finish and my god they were not wrong. In the shade 3W1 'Tawny' it matches my skin tone perfectly. This foundation is definetly full coverage but saying that you can also get a really lovely natural finish by just applying a small even amount.

The only negative i have ever heard about this foundation is from people with very dry skin complaining that it does not sit well on their skin, i personally have dry skin and use a good moisturizer followed by a primer and have found no problem what so ever. I think well moisturized skin before hand plays a big role on how well this foundation will sit just because it is such a full coverage.

Overall i can happily say Double wear is up there with my favorite foundations now. The packaging is beautiful and a pretty decent sized bottle for the price of £29.50.
I have a feeling i will be purchasing another bottle of these very soon as i just do not want to run out now!

Have you tried this foundation?

MY INNER BIKER

Jacket: Oasis (stores only) similar here
Boots: Asos similar here

I wore this outfit today and felt like all i needed was a Harley Davidson to finish off the look. I haven't done a fashion post in a while so i thought i'd share my OOTD and of course i had to include my leather jacket that i got for Christmas as a present from my boyfriend, i am in LOVE, honestly i live in it. The weather was so lovely and sunny today so i was able to just chuck this jacket on over  a plain tee, ripped jeans and boots which has got me super excited for summer.

URBAN DECAY VICE 3!

With all of the eye shadow palettes in the world i can not think of one that is more functional than the Urban decay vice 3 palette. This is because not only are the range of 20 colours absolutely stunning, but the shades vary from cool tone/matte nudes to shimery bright blues, greens and pinks meaning you could live off of just this palette for the rest of your days if you had to! I have had this palette since just before Christmas and i don't think i have reached for another eye shadow palette since and as always with Urban decay the pigmentation is amazing.

I snapped these photos earlier when i created this look using 'downfall' and 'alchemy' through the crease and 'lucky' on the lid. I just love creating different looks with this palette and honestly it is most definitely worth the investment!

grab it here when it's back in stock  £42.00

REVIEW: B. READY DAY CREAM

I have discovered a new and amazing day cream and i really wanted to share!

I have previously mentioned my love for Superdrugs 'B.' range when i spoke about their cleanser, i mentioned the fact that all their products are affordable and amazing quality and this B.Ready Day Cream is no exception. The thing that really attracted me to this cream is the fact that B. makes it very clear with their 'Skincare phase' departments which collection is best suited to your age range, naturally i searched the '20's-30's' range and came across this day cream which has an SPF 15.

I have become very attached to this cream and i use it every morning. Unlike a lot of day creams i have used in the past this one does not leave my skin feeling sticky, it sinks in to the skin so fast and leaves your face feeling super soft and just amazing, It also claims to 'protect against early signs of ageing for perfect looking skin'.
The only negative i can mention about this product is the packaging. As lovely looking as it is the plastic around the rim of the jar began to crack and crumble after a short while of me using it, which was a bit of a mess but not too much of an inconvenience!

B. Ready Day Cream- £4.98
